About Studio3
Studio3 is a protocol for venture progress. Ventures commit objectives in public, a validator records each verdict, and the record keeps every outcome. It is built for the studios, incubators and accelerators that run ventures in the open, and for the founders and backers around them.
Principles
What the protocol holds itself to. Each one is true of the product today.
1
Declared up front
An objective's criteria, evidence, deadline and reward are fixed before the work starts.
2
Failure is first class
Failed, expired and abandoned objectives stay public and permanent, shown as fully as a success.
3
Every verdict names its recorder
Studio3 staff record verdicts today, and the record says so on each one.
4
Counts, never shares
Progress is objectives validated against objectives committed. No percentage stands in for a verdict.
5
Nothing to stake
There is no token. Rewards are real USDC and non-cash items, committed to one objective before the work starts and released only on verified success. The escrow to hold them is not built yet.
6
Readable by software
Every object and figure carries machine-readable attributes, so an agent reads the same record a person does.
What is not built yet
Signal, Forecast, reward escrow and verdicts recorded by Anchors are decided and not built. How it works lists what runs today.
