How it works
The protocol in one page: what holds what, the seven phases, how an objective settles, who holds which seat, what a reward is, and what is not built yet.
Hierarchy
Four objects, each inside the one before it. A venture that wants an objective opens an Arena for it.
Level 1
Studio
The studio, incubator or accelerator a venture belongs to.
Level 2
Venture
The persistent home: its phase, its seats and its record. Every seat is held on a venture, never across the protocol.
Level 3
Arena
A contest a venture opens. It holds the objectives the venture commits to and the reward on each.
Level 4
Objective
The protocol's primitive: one claim, the bar it must clear, the evidence required, a deadline and a reward.
Seven phases
A venture moves through seven phases in order. A Grand Arena is the gate between two of them: its objectives decide whether the venture moves into the next phase.
Phase 1 of 7
Spark
Ideas Compete for Initial Interest
A venture idea is submitted in public, where it competes for the community's interest against every other idea at this stage.
Phase 2 of 7
Forge
Compete for IP Ownership
Multiple founders compete in Founder Duels to determine who gets to build the venture.
Phase 3 of 7
Ignition
Build Your MVP
Develop your minimum viable product with community support and milestone-based validation.
Phase 4 of 7
Drift
Find Product-Market Fit
Iterate on your product based on user feedback and market signals to achieve product-market fit.
Phase 5 of 7
Orbit
Scale User Base
Grow your user base and prove sustainable traction with community-backed growth strategies.
Phase 6 of 7
Flare
Achieve Profitability
Scale revenue streams and achieve sustainable profitability with optimized operations.
Phase 7 of 7
Ascension
Exit Sovereign
Graduate to full independence or pursue strategic acquisition as a mature venture.
Objectives
Everything an objective will be judged on is written down before the work starts, and does not change while the work happens.
What every objective states
- Claim
- What will be true, in words.
- Bar
- The measurable condition: a metric, a comparator and a target.
- Evidence
- What has to be submitted to show it.
- Deadline
- The moment it resolves.
- Reward
- An amount and its asset, committed up front.
- Verdict
- Recorded after the deadline against the bar, naming who recorded it.
How one settles
Step 1
Commit
A venture declares the objective in an Arena: the claim in words, the bar it must clear, the evidence required, a deadline and a reward.
- Draft. Declared but not open yet. Nothing can be validated.
Step 2
Deliver
The objective stays open until its deadline. Its terms do not change while the work happens.
- Open. No verdict yet. The deadline is still ahead.
Step 3
Validate
After the deadline, the validator checks the evidence against the bar declared up front. Studio3 staff record every verdict today.
- Awaiting validation. The deadline has passed and no verdict is recorded yet.
Step 4
Settle
One verdict, permanent and public, naming who recorded it. A failure is shown as fully as a success. A contested verdict reads Disputed until a decision is recorded.
- Validated. Every required condition was met, and the verdict is recorded.
- Validated in part. Some conditions were met, and the verdict is recorded.
- Failed. The conditions were not met. Permanent and public.
- Expired. The deadline passed with nothing submitted. Permanent and public.
- Abandoned. Withdrawn before the deadline. Permanent and public.
Verdicts
Every surface names an objective's state in these words, and the colour never says it alone. Five are recorded verdicts and permanent; the others are an objective still open, overdue, or contested.

Seats
Three seats on every venture. A Sender builds it, an Anchor is seated to judge it, and an Echo backs it in public and is never on its team. One account can hold different seats on different ventures.
Sender
Plays. Takes on the objectives and delivers them before the deadline.
Declaring objectives and submitting evidence are not built yet.
Sign in as a SenderAnchor
Judges. Reviews the evidence against the bar. Studio3 staff do this today; Anchors will take it over.
Recording a verdict in the app is not built yet.
Sign in as an AnchorEcho
Backs it. Follows ventures and, once Forecast opens, makes the call: believe or doubt.
Forecast is decided but not built yet.

Rewards
- A reward is committed to one objective before the work starts: real USDC, or a non-cash item.
- An amount is held in its asset's smallest unit, so nothing is rounded on the way.
- Released on verified success. A failed, expired or abandoned objective releases nothing.
- The escrow that will hold a reward until its verdict is not built yet.
- There is no Studio3 token. Nothing is bought, staked or burned, and there are no odds and no positions to take.
What runs today
Nothing on these pages describes a feature in the present tense unless it runs. Signal and Forecast are decided and not built.
| Capability | What is true today | Status |
|---|---|---|
Arenas and objectives | Each objective states its criteria, the evidence required, a deadline and a reward before the work starts. Studio3 sets them up with each venture; there is no self-serve way to open an Arena yet. | Live |
Verdicts | Recorded by Studio3 staff against the criteria declared up front. Every verdict names who recorded it. | Live |
Permanent outcomes | Failed, expired and abandoned objectives stay on the record beside the validated ones. | Live |
Committed rewards | USDC and non-cash items, committed to one objective before the work starts. | Live |
Reward release | Released on verified success is the commitment. The escrow that will hold a reward until then is not built. | Not built |
Verdicts by Anchors | Anchors are seated on ventures to judge them. Studio3 staff record every verdict today. | Not built |
Signal | A free, public statement of belief in a venture. It will never be scored. | Not built |
Forecast | A free call on whether an objective will be validated, building a public accuracy record. | Not built |
Rankings | Nothing can rank anyone fairly until forecast accuracy exists, so there is no leaderboard. | Not built |
Native token | Studio3 has no token. Nothing is bought, staked or burned. | None |
On-chain contracts | No Studio3 contract is deployed. Arenas, objectives and verdicts are kept in Studio3's database. | None |
